OMG or yours, I worship life and the universe, however it came to be here.
To comprehend it's origin, if it had one, or meaningfulness,
I think would be too arrogant a task for this carbon-based unit.
...but would declare this:
In order for truth to be true, it must be universal,
and found in all religions, arts, and sciences,
else it not be true at all.
Self-esteem, I acquire it by doing the next right thing. Responsibility and a diligent work ethic are key for me, yet always careful not to succumb to others perceptions of what I should be, unless of course "it" rings true. It's okay for me if a friend catches me when I'm wrong, but leery when they try to mold or shape me into something acceptable for them, because they see our relationship only as an extension of who they are. Most of us do this all the time, but how lifting it is when I can love and respect someone for who they are. I don't have to agree with lifestyle and choice, only accept the road they travel as theirs, and trust that all our roads lead home...
