Cyndi was born in Marseilles, France in 1984. She first realised she wanted to be a singer when she saw the breathtaking performance of Whitney Houston’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ from the film ‘The Bodyguard’. She practised her own vocal techniques to this track, at first singing to herself, then her family and then in school.
This led to her parents sending her to singing school followed by private lessons; later her vocal coaches included the industry legend Ron Anderson. Cyndi also loved the songs of Jacques Brel and Edith Piaf, however always continued to sing her original favourite ‘I Will Always Love You’.
At 14 years old, Cyndi won a local talent contest and entered the national televised contest finals held in Paris. This was the start of her professional singing career. After a spell of recording in the USA Cyndi is continuing her career in the UK and entered the Eurovision Song Contest show Making Your Mind Up in 2007 after being shortlisted to perform live on one of BBC's biggest tv shows of the year
Steve Allen, A&R at Warner UK and SonyBMG first discovered Cyndi after hearing her vocals on a hit dance track and believed he was listening to the sampled voice of an American soul diva.Cyndi is currently recording new songs for her debut UK album in 2008 with Brian Rawling and the legendary Metrophonic team in England.
