Ash-I could be mistaken for a well to do one hit wonder that is only interested in the fame? In fact Ash-I is a consummate song writer, and an outstanding vocalist. Ash-I appears very mature having grown up in Jamaica he is no stranger to the hard knock Life, which is reflected within his lyrics.He started singing at an early age in his local church choir, he had always had a deep rooted Love for music and focused his energies on perfecting his many vocal styles. His voices is lovingly soulful Strong. He exudes confidence and is very comfortable when performing. His musical style can be best described as a soulful blend of R&B and reggae, and with the legendary Bob Marley, Jah cure, Morgan heritage, babe face, as main musical influences: it’s a healthy blend of, Conscious love ballads. His love of music and vocal talent had him winning competitions all over Jamaica Where he wooed and was adored by audiences with these experiences he is no stranger to the big stage. Ash-I soon found himself in Gambia, Africa as a support act for Jamaican singer, Frankie Paul, After that he continued a whirl of events and opportunities where he was singing at festivals and, Generating a steady fan base. After going to Africa it was only a natural progression to want global Recognition like his idols. Ash-I left his homeland after in the early nineties with the ambition of pursuing A solo career and moved to England.Ash-I has open shows performing at hackney theatre, Strafford Rex opening shows for Bounty Killa, Vibez Kartell, Cutty Ranks, Mad Cobra, Vincent Nap, Sanchez , Frankie Paul, Anthony Red Rose, Dan Campbell, Omar, to name a few. Ash-I is focus and ready for the music industry to take control and make this artist one the world will remember, he shows determination in everything that he does. He has personality, strength and talent to become an established vocalist for a number of recording labels. I feel it would benefit any label to market this artist as a ladies man.
