Watford formed in 1881 as Watford Rovers, and went professional in 1897. In 1922 they moved to Vicarage Road. Watford have had some success in there history, The club is best known for its two spells under the management of former England manager Graham Taylor. The first lasting from 1977 to 1987, when the club rose to the old Division One from Division Four, also reaching the FA Cup final in 1984 and losing to Everton. We also competed in the UEFA Cup 1984 . The second lasting from 1997 to 2001, when Taylor took the club from Division Two to the Premiership in successive seasons. 05/06 was brilliant under Aidy we won promotion to the Premiership and 06/07 was a eventful, we were relegated from the Premiership and got to the FA Cup Semi Final's eventally losing 4-1 to Man Utd.Links to other Watford sites can found below.
