My name is Eric and I am a Heavymetal Freak from the town Skellefteå in the North of Sweden! It all started in 1988 when i was around 7 years old and heard my father play EUROPEs "The Final Countdown" on vinyl! After that i went through my fathers records one by one and discovered bands like BLACK SABBATH, JUDAS PRIEST, AC/DC, DEEP PURPLE, URIAH HEEP, IRON MAIDEN and many many more!!! I was sold! Sadly the vinylrecords era died around 1991 and the Cd came along. So it was hard for me to get hold of Heavymetal on vinyl. Back than no one new what the internet was so it was hard to find the vinyls you wanted! But gladly my father and his 2 cousins had a huge record collection and had many many heavymetal albums that they let me borrow! They also had a lot of records that didnt listen to or like, so they let my buy them! :) Quickly my own record collection started to take form! Sadly i cant remember which vinyl that was the first I brought but my first ever cd I brought was AC/DCs "Live" from 1992. And since then my record collection has grown to one of the biggest collections in my hometown! Containing around 600 cds and 400 vinyls + singles, vhs, dvd and kassetts! Almost every record I own are Heavy/Power/Speed metal from the 80..s! The best Decade - The best music!!!/Eric
