LOMBARD TWINS.Martin and Facundo Lombard started dancing at the age of 7 in their native Buenos Aires, Argentina. By 13 they made their sensational TV debut in one of Argentina's most popular shows, Rhythm of the Night.Their unparalleled synchronized Free Expression way of dance and high-energy Tap Dance soon caught the eye of legend James Brown and Tito Puente. Mr. Brown, in awe of their talent, dubbed them "The Soul Boys".In 1998, Martin and Facundo moved to New York City, a city that embraced them immediately. While in the US they have appeared at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center, the Saratoga Jazz Festival and BB King's, to name but a few.Choreographer Maurice Hines incorporated them in his workshop production of Yo' Alice, slated for Broadway.Their many credits include featured appearances with Whitney Houston and George Michael ("If I Told You That" video) a Tribute to The Nicholas Brothers (Lincoln Center) the jazz musician Winton Marsalis (Gran Rex Theatre, Argentina) and Stomp (Luna Park Staduim, Argentina)In print, they have been seen in Vogue, shot by Steven Meisel for Versace. They also have been cover featured of the New York dance magazines Dance Spirit, and New York Dance Fax.AntiGravity, New York's premiere aerial dance company featured them in performances for George Lucas, Bill Gates, and The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, among others.In 2001, The Lombard Twins returned to Argentina to focus on their theatrical and filmmaking projects. While developing their acting, composition and directorial skills, they still found time to tour to Thailand, Korea and The Philippines, performing for Louis Vuitton and Spain with flamenco dancer, Rafael Amargo.They regularly were VJ's for MTV South America.Finally, in 2004, their first full length theatrical show Dreamers was ready to be mounted. They wrote, directed, composed and produced the show which was picked up and toured in Barcelona, the Edinburgh Festival, Dublin, and finally, in Argentina.Currently, The Lombard Twins reside in New York where they regularly work as guest artist with AntiGravity and Rasta Thomas' Bad Boys of Dance.Recently, they have written, directed and stared the 13' minutes short film "Infancia 34"They have also debuted their new theatrical production "Lombard Play Piazzolla" - The Dance Concert - at New York City Center Fall For Dance Festival and presented this concert at Rosie O Donnell’s Rosie Live on NBC.They have also choreographed and danced in a music video for Wyclef Jean & The Electric Company, for PBS.Martin & Facundo are working on their new projects. A los 13 hicieron su debut televisivo en el programa “Ritmo de la Noche” de Marcelo Tinelli.Su sincronizada Forma Libre de bailar, y su energia en Tap Dance llamo la atencion del Padrino del soul James Brown y Tito Puente. Mr. Brown, asombrado por el talento de Los Gemelos, los llamo “The Soul Boys”.En 1998, Martin y Facundo se mudaron a New York City. Mientras desarrollaban sus habilidades en actuacion, composicion musical y direcccion de cine, comenzaron un tour por Tailandia, Corea y Filipina donde performaron para Louis Vuitton. Y por Espania junto al bailarin de flamenco, Rafael amargo.Fueron VJ’s de MTV en America del Sur.Finalmente, en el 2004 Martin y Facundo escriben, producen, dirigen, coreografian, componen y arreglan la musica original de su espectaculo autobiografico Dreamers… Si no tienes un suenio, no tienes vida. Con el que se han presentado en Barcelona, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Dublin, y Finalmente en Argentina.Actualmente, Los Gemelos Lombard se encuentran en New York City donde hacen presentaciones como artistas invitados junto a la compañia Antigravity y Bad Boys of Dance del bailarin Rasta Thomas.Recientemente, escribieron, dirigieron y protagonizaron un cortometraje de 13 minutos llamado "Infancia 34"Tambien han estrenado su nuevo espectaculo "Lombard Play Piazzolla" - The Dance Concert - en el City Center de New York en el Fall For Dance Festival.
