My dad thought I looked like a miniature version of a Saint Bernard and then he added some Latin flair. I was adopted from the LA County Shelter in Downey just in time to spare my life. I don't know much about myself before that happy day in May. I was a mess. My long beautiful hair had been shaved because it was heavily matted, but thankfully it has returned thick and lush. I love to have it brushed. I have one adopted brother, Marlon. We are total opposites. I like to run and play while he just sits around the house. He's a big fat wiener. (Really, he's a dachshund.) I may be the younger one but I'm the taller one! I don't really know what my background is but I'm thinking there's some sort of Spaniel in me. A lot of people tell me I look part Beagle. The shelter listed me as a short-haired chihuahua. Are you kidding me? Doesn't matter much. I think I'm as cute as a button. Don't you agree? My dad even took me to the '06 Silver Fox Memorial Day Cute Dog Contest and I placed 1st Runner Up. My brother's cute, too (I guess.) But he didn't even place.
