I am a singer song writter from Dallas Texas. I play in a band called The Uncontrollable Urge. This site features music I created or remixed myself. Born In El Paso Texas in 1977, Ive been Rockin since I got my first fischer price record player. I was always encouraged to be creative, and started singing at 15. Various projects through out highschool I had my first real band (Grimm) at 18 with drummer Chris Galbraith(current uncontrollable urge) in San Antonio. We Played a few shows playing originals and covers, Pantera, Alice in Chains, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and others. We disbanded and started jamming with others. My musical tastes really expanded and I got my first keyboard. It wasnt till I moved to Dallas In 2000 I became more serious about music and recording practicly every thing I did. I was a front man of an short lived all girl band that included my long time girl now wife Jennifer on bass. We have two handsome boys Jordin Ty Rex and Jurney Sage.
In 2003 After a Jam session I reunited with drummer Chris and his cousin Jovan Santos and we formed The Uncontrollable Urge. We played from 2003 to 2008. I am now seeking new projects.Jakobi, literally translated in Japanese, means 'snake flattery,' or 'snake flirtation,' something like 'snake-like charm.'
