Jamaican born dance hall sensation Balli is set to release his highly anticipated album ."THE PAY BACK" in 2009. Complete with musical interludes that successfully combine elements of pop, rock, R&B, hip-hop and dancehall. Balli credits the hip-hop producer Kit West for his new signature sound.Balli . .traveled far and wide with some of reggaes most prominent acts, SEAN PAUL Shabba Ranks and Spragga Benz to name a few. Since committing himself to concentrating fully on music, Balli's career has all but exploded. Balli switches up on the mid tempo- hype filled songs such as “Back it up” and “Throw em up”, where he proclaims his intentions to be a dominating influence in dancehall/reggae. “Burn Dem Out” and “Run Dem" are hardcore anthems alluding to Balli’s street savyness as he reflects on a hustlers everyday struggles with “Haters”.Although he moved from Kingston to Brooklyn, NY this ambitious hard worker hasn’t forgotten his Jamaican culture that influenced his musical aspirations, “I was always into music, born into it,” says Balli. “Growing up in Jamaica, there’s a sound system on every corner.
