About Me

My name is Christina and yes, I am one of the Thompson Twins :) I am 28 yrs old and married to the man of my dreams. Marriage has been harder than I thought it would be but I wouldn't change anything! My husband is a military man who puts his life on the line for our country and I am extremely proud of him. I could never do what he does but I stand by him every step of the way. We live in Georgia and are actually enjoying it! The humidity, bugs and alligators (yes, I said alligators) are a little hard to get used to but I have adapted pretty well. We have two dogs who we consider as our kids. Sadie is a bull terrier (like the Target dog) and she is 3 yrs old. Bailey is a german shepherd mix and she is 2 yrs old. They definitely keep us entertained! I wouldn't trade them for anything in this world. And yes, they are both Mommy's girls :)I can definitely say that I am a girl with a big heart! I do tend to take things personal when they aren't meant that way but that's just who I am. I don't hold grudges b/c life is too short. I'm not fake and can't deal with people who are. I can't stand people who are rude. I've always been raised to say Please and Thank You and it annoys me when others can't give the same respect. People really need to listen and go by the Golden Rule. If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all.I have a twin sister, and yes we are identical, who I miss very much! We are both married and doing our own things. It is extremely difficult being separated from her. Nobody in this entire world has ever made me laugh as much as my she can. She's awesome! I'm really happy that she found the man she's supposed to be with. They are so happy together! Nick has been a great addition to our family :)I have 4 girlfriends who will always be in my life! Gracee, Nikki, Tane and Sibely have ALWAYS been there for me. No matter where we all live or how busy we all are, we still keep in touch and take care of each other. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life but they have never judged me or made me feel bad about them. I've been through so much this last year and I know I couldn't have survived if it wasn't for them. I love you girls very much! You are all Amazing women!

My Interests

My new interest is actually working out! I have never been a gym rat but I hired a personal trainer and she is amazing! She really pushes me and I actually enjoy the workouts. I also love to dance! There really isn't too many places where I live to go dancing so when I do go out, you can't get me off the dance floor :) I love cooking! I used to watch Food Network all the time! Food always makes me smile. And they always say, A way to a man's heart is through his stomach! So freakin true! LOL!

Music:

I am a complete ROCK girl! No rap or country will ever be on my Ipod or in my cd player. I've listened to all kinds of music throughout my life and rock is the only one that feels right!

Movies:

Boondock Saints has always been my favorite movie but there is another that is now tied with it. And that movie is 300! One word... AMAZING! "Give them NOTHING but take from them...EVERYTHING!!!!" And now I have goosebumps :) I'm not big on the T & A movies like American Pie and the many that came after that one. I don't find talking about balls and farts funny. I need a little more to make me laugh. I can't watch war movies b/c they are a little too real for me. I'm also not a fan of gruesome movies where people are being tortured. My stomach just can't take it! I do love my chick flicks :) I can't help it! But if at one point in the movie where the two main characters FINALLY get together and everyone around them start to clap I get HIGHLY annoyed! Seriously, who does that? :)

Television:

Since I am a housewife I tend to watch a lot of tv :) I know, pathetic...get over it! My favorites are Sex and the City, Friends, Desperate Housewives, Gilmore girls, Scrubs, Heroes,Grey's Anatomy (they are kinda losing my attention a little b/c they keep breaking up Meredith and Mc Dreamy, just make them happy for once dammit!), The Office, Family Guy (Stewie Rocks), American Dad. Now, I have to admit...I am a Reality Show whore! I can't help it! I would rather watch drama than have it in my life. My favs are Tila Tequila, America's Next Top Model, Top Chef, Project Runway, The Hills (I'm Team Lauren, not Team Heidi...Sorry Nikki!)and last but not least American Idol! The only reason I watch it is to watch David Cook WIN! His version of Billie Jean was sooo good! He's going to be so big!

Books:

I don't read, it puts me to sleep :)

Heroes:
