I'm here to network with other film makers and artists. I have an extensive backround and have worked steadily in the industry since the late 70's. My first experiance was as a stand-in on my fathers series "The Monroes" and many of my first jobs were with his company "Omnibus Productions." It was a great place to be; and he was a great teacher (I'll admit that now...LOL) making sure that I had an appreciation for each job on a production. I worked my way from "GOPHER"... You know, GO FER this and GO FER that to a Production Assistant (Executive Gofer....hahaa)... before he started having me work with different depts. While the unions were strong in the 70's you could still "hang-out" and learn from the various dept. heads; especially if your dad was a Producer.... As life went on I wanted more and became very interested in photography. Loved taking pictures. Hated being in them, loved taking them. Thus my first career started taking shape; "still photographer."I was very fortunate and could talk endlessly about the years of joy I had shooting; not just for the studios but for publications, corporations, product, people & life....Still Photographers become close to Publicists and PR Firms or they don't work long.... I'm lucky, worked for a very long time and began to realize a new passion... Publicity and Promotion. Almost equal to my Still Photography career has been my career in the industry as both a Unit Publicist and a personal publicist to Music, Movie, TV, Models and Companies... I love to promote and have made a great deal of connections with these skill sets..No career is without its sidebar careers.... I was a decent Director... an excellent Cinematographer, supported my college with many gigs as a stuntman.... I always ended up back with Music, Film or TV Publicity...Several years back I got my first chance to Produce. To take all I'd learned in each department and combine it. It was a blast. I found that managing a production; choosing the right talent for the right position and then managing the production... that; like my photography and publicity skills, was and "is" my giftWith several TV Series under my belt and one in development, I am extremely excited... This year I'll be Producing a Documentary with a close friend and Producing a Comedy TV Series with another. 2007 is looking good.I am looking to MySpace tointroduce "old" friends back into my life and introduce "new" friends into it. To stay on top of your game you have to be open to change and listen to people are saying while watching all the trends...The last series I produced was geared towards the 18-30 year old demographic. As I am "outside" that range (LOL) I realized I'd have to trust the "kids" I hired to do the show... My trust was well placed and the show was and is very popular... You have to know as a Producer when and what to delegate...OK, enough about me... Join MySpace and tell me about you. Please join if you are seriously looking to network. I answer all messages and have no problem offering advice. I still do indie and college films... even after over 20 network series with in excess of 1,000 episodes and countless movies. Why? Becausae I love to learn and know that everybody has something to offer...Myspace Graphics
