I am a solo singer/songwriter/musician originally from Morristown, TN, but now spending most of my time in Western NC probably going to be picking up and moving again by June 2009.I have played the piano since I was 6 and took up the acoustic guitar in October 2003. I am currently a vocal music major at Mars Hill College which takes up most of my musical energy. As an acoustic artist, I like covering songs but I also write a few myself in my spare time, whatever that is. :-D
I've played at open mic nights in downtown Morristown and WNC and have been given a lot of support by the other local musicians. I don't get the chance to play live often, but love it when I do.
I try to make it to the Blue Mountain Pizza Open Mic on Wednesday nights when I'm not working, whenever that happens.
I'm working on recording some of my newer material so keep a look out for that.
Most of my time, unfortunately, is not spent working on my acoustic work but instead on my classical voice repertoire for my music major. When I post show dates, I post both my classical school related dates as well as fun gigging dates
