About Me

Where to start… Ok I started playing guitar, drums and singing when I was 11 yrs old. Hung around the Queensland competition circuit for a fair few years. My first band experience was with a band called Dangerous Goods with some people I met at the local country music club (Maroochy River). We were a 5 piece band that was made up of a family of 4 and myself. I alternated between lead guitar and the drums with Scott the youngest of the family. In 1999 I was chosen to sing at the Nambour Civic Center to do a support show for Lee Kernaghan’s on his Hat Town tour. That was exciting lol… Dangerous Goods played around the Sunshine Coast for a couple of years and then I moved over to Kalgoolie (Western Australia). There I joined up with Lee Forster and we formed a duo called weirs crossing where we played at the York Hotel regularly and various other venues. On occasion Mick a local drummer would accompany us. Both myself and Lee played lead guitar. After that I joined a 3 piece band with “Gypsy” and Russell Higgins” called “Gypsy and the cowboys”. We also played regularly around Kalgoorlie. Myself and Russell would alternate between bass and lead guitar. Since then I have moved back to Queensland and have attended the “CMAA College of Country Music”….. It was great if there are any country music performers reading this I would recommend it!!... I had a ball was a great 2 weeks. Other than music in my spare time I like to play music ;).. Working in the coal mines take’s up a lot of my time so in my spare time I do as much music as I can. :)…. Well that’s about it hope you like the site and I’ll keep ya’s updated on what’s going on….. :p
