Born in OKC a month late on May 16, 1986 in the eastside of OKC where he attended Creston Hills elementary, Kc's mother moved the family to the westside to a better neighborhood. It was there Kc gained a better respect for both other races and genres of music. Moving to Ardmore when he was 10 due to an eviction notice and his Grandmother's worsening alzheimers Kc met the great musician Carlton Dorsey. Many boring years in the Ardmore school system would have him later hook up with the rapper then known as T-$poon aka Young Cocky. The young man born Kc Ronell Ligon would soon change his name to B.E.A.T.N.I.K., boy everybody aspires to niggas it's kc, a name meaning that if every rapper and person in general needed someone to look to as a guide for an all around cool ass nigga and fly ass rapper, Kc is that man. Beatnik aka Mr. B is currently working on his project PEACE LOVE AND MONEY, which he says is not just an album, it's a movement.
