Hi,I'm Franz, a 24 years old guy from Trieste,Italy. I play guitar since i was 16 and i'm involved in music since i was 14. I like (or used to like) and I've played a lot of different kinds of music: from hard rock to punk, from metal to jazz and blues, from prog to alternative. I'm a rythm and a lead guitarist, but I started as a singer (well... sort of, a screamer would be more accurate) in a band with no name with a buch of friends: with the tipical naivety of a 14yo, we played covers from Nirvana, Obituary, Green Day, Marylin Manson, Pink Floyd and Megadeth, often in this very order! Than I've played and had a lot of fun in Blood Pollution and Halo, two metal acts. After that I had a short stint in a "stillborn" prog band, Brain Salad Surgery would have been the name. For five years I've been the singer , guitarist and main composer of Buck mcCoy, a hard rock band which is now (sadly) on hiatus. Currently, i'm the lead guitarist of Hangover, an italian alt. rock band. Since 2002 I take lessons (mostly jazz, improvisation and harmony) from a great teacher, Lucio Zanella: he changed my life as a musician and taught me that music is freedom, I know the rules but I like to play by my rules. Hopefully I'll have the time to work on my own things and post the result on this page, some hints are already here.
