MORE COWBELL! One of Chicago's own best loved soundmen!!

About Me

I'm currently traveling with Hello Dave thru Europe. Back home March 8th.I'm a native of this lovely town. Born and raised on the south side, but a madman who lives in a great place in Wicker Park. I've spent near half my life mixing sound, or working in some capacity in the music industry. Known as a good natured, upbeat guy. So maybe my jokes might be a bit corny, but who cares...as long as I laugh at them. :)I have been known to go that extra mile for people, and you know who you are. Not easily inpersonated, but the inspiration of many parody songs, most about me. To know me is to love me, and I must be one hell of a man. Did I just quote Mack Davis? Keep it real with me, and I promise to do the same in turn.

My Interests

Traveling, gardening, reading suspence novels, fishing (when I can), astronomy, playing my bass (need to keep at it), pampering my 2 cats Ruthie & Neela, collecting silver age comics from 1962 - 1969, single malts from Scotland and try to make everyones day a little better....oh, and online auctions (damn you ebay!)

I'd like to meet:

Hmmmmmmm, let me think. Well if I had to say someone, it would have to be Bill Shatner. I've always thought it be cool to hang out and party with that guy. Besides, the guy was born the same year and day as my own father, so he must be cool. But seriously, I would like to find that one special someone.

Music:

Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bauhaus, Iggy Pop, Brand New Heavies, The Who, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Bach, Mozart, Steely Dan, Santana, Junior Wells, Johnny Cash, Digible Planet and so many more

Movies:

Stranger than Fiction...a must see for everyone, Stripes, The Empire Strikes Back, Good Will Hunting, The Hunt for Red October, Finding Neverland, Legend of the Fall, Forest Gump, The English Patient, LOTR: The Fellowship of the Ring and Return of the King...just to name a few

All the Star Trek series (especially Voyager), Soap, Survivor, American Idol (hah! this show really sucks now), Rescue Me, Monk, Battlestar Galactica...not the old one, Boston Legal, Jericho, 60 Minutes (miss Ed Bradly), Nova, Frontline, Family Guy, Heroes, Curb your Enthusism and of course The Sopranos

Books:

Devil in a White City, The Foundation series by Issac Asimov, Lord of the Rings, all 3 books, Pelican Brief and Interview with a Vampire
