About Me

Fast Eddie Music Conspiracy lets their music evolve organically instead of trying to manipulate its direction. Their ethos is blending the abilities of a progressive band with the musical anarchism of a punk band. Is there such a thing as punk-progressive?
Too much noise and improvisation for progressive purists, too many notes for throwback punks, too much adrenaline for post-punks, and too much of an attention span required for the pop market Too much noise and improvisation for progressive purists, too many notes for punks, too much adrenaline for post-punks, and no patience for the practices and product of major labels Fast Eddie Music Conspiracy is the backlash of those bored with the fodder churned out by today's music industry.
FEMC has been playing together in various combinations for over twelve years; previous groups include Uncle Vito, Feedbag and Cookiehead Jenkins. Since their first show on New Year's Eve 2000, they have progressed from playing basements to opening for national acts. Members also currently perform with Telesma, Naked Jungle, Burn The Fields, The Gena Rowlands Band, and Crosstown.
Mosh, Hippies... Mosh.
Spin, Metalheads... Spin.

Album Reviews:
"Playing the game their own way, these guys manage to record and release impressively focused and polished songs that are somewhat accessible...yet simultaneously artistically credible. Instead of playing sloppy underground dribble, these smart gents play together like one tight, focused unit" from babysue.com
"I know it will appeal to a certain segment of the population that approaches their music with an open and adventurous mind. Heavy in nature, but melodic in tone, it's loud, sometimes disturbing and even a little jarring" from CMG(Michael Macey)
