..I am a hard-working and ambitious individual. I put 110 percent into everything i do. I am focussed and determined to succeed in whatever it is i do.At the moment i am living near Kennett Square, Pennsylvania, USA. I am working at Longwood Gardens; The World's Premier Horticultural Display Garden. I am here for one year as an Arboriculture Intern, where i help to care for their tree collections.I was born in East Yorkshire in the North of England, but moved down to London just over three years ago to study Botany and Horticulture at Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. I graduated in September 2007 with the Prestegious 'Kew Diploma in Horticulture'. I am a fully qualified Arborist in the UK and have passed NPTC units 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 38, 39, 40 and 41. Next month i will sit the International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborists Exam. This will enable my skills as an Arborist to be recognized worldwide.I enjoy travel and would hope to combine this with my love for trees by working abroad further in the future! I would love to travel more in the USA whilst i am here and possibly live and work in New Zealand and Australia.Above all i want to live a long and fruitful life and experience as much as possible - After all, you only live once!
