High-kicking, tassel-twirling, head-turning burlesque starlet based in Edinburgh. Purveyor of all things glamorous. I like nothing more than to shock, scandalise, flirt and twirl, all with a mischievous glint in my eye. I perform and teach nationwide with my partner in crime, Miss Gypsy Charms, at the Academy of Burlesque and Cabaret. Our shows are a study in burlesque fun and games – together we have explored whether James Bond is man or woman, what happens when a frog really does turn out to be Prince Charming, and seen a gun-toting, sword-wielding showdown when Kill Bill meets the Gay Exchange chatline! We are constantly designing, choreographing and costuming new routines which can be any combination of glamorous, naughty, strange, hedonistic, fun and outrageous.The Academy provides performers for corporate and charity events around the UK as well as club nights and festivals. It provides the house troupe for Edinburgh’s Neue Liebe cabaret and Aberdeen’s Club Sapphire burlesque nights, and regularly performs with and for the Ministry of Burlesque at its High Tease club nights in Glasgow.
