Chris Avey former lead guitarist and backing vocalist for blues icon Big Pete Pearson, fuels the band with his stinging guitar attack and fiery vocals. Since striking out on his own with his band , The Avey Brothers, he has released two cd’s. The critically acclaimed “Devil in my Bed “, and there soon to be released follow up “Preacherman”. One reviewer said" vocals and guitar reminiscent of a younger more fiery Coco Montoya, mixed with a dash Tab Benoit". Filling out the rhythm section is Bryan West (Drums), a veteran of the Chicago music scene and Prince's Paisley Park studios in Minneapolis; he brings his influences to the band adding to the unique blend of musical backgrounds. The group with there mixed backgrounds, blends elements of Cajun swamp with Blues -rock, and Chicago sounds to a mix heard on there debut CD "Devil in my Bed" and there soon to be released follow up “Preacherman”.
