Three Minute Margin

About Me

Formed in Liverpool in 1999, Three Minute Margin started out playing heavy improvised Post-Hardcore semi-instrumentals such as "Call Me Bluto For I am He" and "Civilisation Spurns the Leopard". They later suffered from a fit of songwriting and are one of the area's most Angular, Direct and Forceful bands. A self recorded compilation "20 Tonnes of Trouble" was released by the band and later a split CD with Tokyo Adventures ("The Three Minute Margin just had a fight with Tokyo Adventures - I'm not sure who won, but there's blood everywhere"). A selection of songs from these sessions currently remain unreleased.Other contributions can be found on the Keith Kompilations 1 and 2 and scattered liberally around in other places like so much tasty rock salt. Our most recent release was the "Helsby E.P." produced in a limited edition numbered run for the last ever Munkyfest. This featured the studio version of the Rock Anthem we wrote for our 2004 Munkyfest appearance "Highway to Helsby". These are sold out now, but will be back in a new edition soon.

Ancient History...

Ha ha!  Check out "Lunch", a relic from six flamin' years ago.  Unbelievable.  I'm quite amused that Paul has dug this up for the listening pleasure of everyone on myspace.   ...

How to Practice Properly

So, the Margin had a practice today. Not, as many might suspect, in a practice room or studio but in the front room of one of our flats.  Let me tell you this: You ain't heard nuthin' until ...
