The Ramblings formed in March 2007 with the idea of creating an energetic, fresh new approach to British rock. Their fervour for live music has seen their stage show develop into a memorable festival of catchy sounds and audience interaction. June '08 - This month they supported Captain Black at Lennons, played the mainstage at 7pm on Saturday night at the Access Festival, supported Drew from Babyshambles new band Helsinki, with a little help from Kyle from the View and also played the Southsea Bandstand Festival supporting SixNationState as well as recording 2 new songs
July '08 - In sunny July the ramblings spent their time headlining the Hope and Anchor in Islington, Supporting Open Room at the Joiners in Southampton, headlining the Fat Fox, supporting Mobile Act unsigned winners Envy and other Sins at the Orange Rooms and recording a new song 'Broken at the Bridge' of which is available to download for free now...
August '08 - August kicked off with a late night slot on the main stage at the Longest Day festival in Brighton, a DJ band off at the Jolly Sailor in Southsea, a headline at The Railway in Winchester, they also played the Macbeth in Hoxton in London on the 12th, the Hobbit in Southampton on the 15th and The Cavendish Arms music festival in Stockwell.
September '08 - Last month started with the lovely Southsea festival and a slot at the Edge of the Wedge, followed up with playing with Jazica at the talking heads a week after. The rest of the month was spent writing and rehearsing new songs and dance routines for the exciting October shows and planning the upcoming recording sessions as well...
