I'm Aarika. I grew up in B.S. Texas. I never truly fit in growing up, as I was an eco-friendly liberal surrounded by country loving farmers. However growing up in this environment has instilled in me high morals and a strong work ethic. Religion in the bible belt did evade me however, as I am not a "good Baptist Christian". I have evolved into an atheist over the years.I'm majoring in both English and Psychology. I'd like to understand people and how we are effected by our society. I think these may help me in my path. I don't attend school because I'll get a high paying job. I got to school to learn.
I go to school at Angelo State University because it's cheap and close to my family. I rely on my mom for alot of support. However, I do like to travel.Then I'll spend another month in Colorado Springs, Colorado to fulfill family needs as my brother will be shipping off for Iraq at the end of May.I'm looking for answers. Everywhere. In everyone. I'll find them, eventually. Until then, I'll keep searching.
