Fourth Axis

About Me

Fourth Axis was formed in 2005 and is struggling to find the time to get their tunes to where they need to be.We have a handful of songs, some of which have literally been in the making for around 16 years. We have recently been chopping up a few tunes and pasting them back together and have even managed to come up with a couple of new tunes! The music is essentially soft rock with a slight funk edge to it. Drums, unfortunately, are synth based using Cubase. As we don't have a Drummer our inspiration and technical ability is somewhat restricted, but hopefully passable. Guitars are by the bassist, who recognises that he is not the greastest guitarist ever, but he'll keep strummin' and is hoping that his friend JimBeam will help him out!The clips on this site are all still work in progress. We'd really appreciate you comments - if you're yawning at the beginning of the song, HANG IN THERE...it may get better. It may not, but you won't know untill you get to the end. Also, if you could listen to them over and over, that would be cool (for us, anyway). The first one doesn't have a name yet so "LNG" is a clip from a song where the drums are pretty much there, but the remaining tracks need to be finalised (we've changed a few of the lyrics and added an ending and hope to reload it...sometime). "Something you said" was lost when my computer caught fire a couple of years ago (didn't back up my songs) so this is the latest version, which isn't as good as the old version (yeah, yeah) and needs to be finalised. We've decided to drop the fade at the end of "So Tired" does anyone think it doesn't kick in soon enough? "Go Home" was written on the train from Waterloo and, like the "Greatest Gift", was just put down quickly 'cause we got a little exited and couldn't wait to record all the tracks (which we will do soon...honest).We've got a couple of new tunes which we hope to upload soon. They'll probably just be guitar and vocals for a while (no suprises there). Anyway, please check out www.amazingtunes.com. Search for Fourth Axis and also lots of cool tunes from our friends - some really cool stuff there and have met some great friends through there. Email us at [email protected] and let us know what you think. Be great to hear from you.I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
