Martin Taylor

Martin Taylor was born in 1985 in Baja, Hungary. He was only 10 years old when he discovered the electronic music and he was wondering whether he could scratch or mix music with primitive cassette. He was sitting next to his tape cassette night after night recording various tracks of radio shows. His mum surprised him with two record players after he spent all his money on a mixer at the age of 15. This inspired the little Martin who started collecting the varied selection of vinyl records. For the next two years he only played at home, later he met a club owner whom he gave one of his mix CDs. He was invited to perform and the party went so well that he was invited to be one of their resident DJ’s. This led to his greatest opportunity to break into the DJ industry. His styles of music and eclectic sets were appreciated by not only the youngsters but the older generation club goers. In 2005 he left the resident DJ position to develop the knowledge he already gained and to create his own style. His style is difficult to define as he mixes genres such as Techno, House and Tech House. However his sets are real music journey and have a distinctive sound: the range from the energetic, driving techy sounds to the deep progressive beats- whatever he does he pushes the boundaries by expressing himself through his music and connects with the audience. That’s why Martin Taylor is so unique.
