Which Hogwarts house will you be sorted into?
Now that it is all over, I feel I can relax a little. I feel that I would like you all to know about my motives and inspirations. I have three children and like so many wonderful people that I have met through this silly marathon thing, one of them is autistic. We fought for many years to get a diagnosis and due to lack of money, inadequate professional; ability and responsibility, five torturous years passed before my son was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome, just last year he is now 11 and has been emotionally and psychologically impeded by this. That is what I want to change. For his, (and all others affected by it) future. To the adults that have lived in confusion, pain and absolute solitude and to those who love them and don't know where to turn. Things need to change.I did not disclose this prior to the marathon, because I was concerned that it would look like I might be trying to raise money through sympathy, and using my son for leverage.
I would like to meet as many people as possible to help me achieve my dream.
On the 22nd April 2007 I RAN the London Marathon, BUT I WOULD STILL WELCOME YOUR SPONSORSHIP MONEY!
I REALLY want to help raise funds and awareness for the National Autistic Society.
It is a charity very close to my heart.
