Modular Lounge

About Me

Modular Lounge is a 4-piece indie guitar-pop band based in Melbourne. Originally formed in Sydney 3 years ago, sisters Greer and Sophie relocated to Melbourne in 2007 where they teamed up with Ben on bass and Johnny on drums to re-complete the Modular Lounge line up.

The band have played over 200 shows and toured across 6 states with some of Australia's finest bands including; Magic Dirt, The Veronicas, Baby Animals, Airborne, The Whitlams, Missy Higgins, End of Fashion, Thirsty Merc, Kate Miller-Heidke, The Red Sun Band, and The Mess Hall.

In September 2007 Modular Lounge released their debut album titled Nightwise. The band released 2 singles - That Night and Martin Place with clips being played on Channel V and Rage. The songs were well received by independent radio stations across the nation. Martin Place was also iTunes single of the week.

The band are currently working on a bunch of new tunes to record in early 2009.

We are inspired by rainy days, cups of tea, sad songs, pretty guitars and cats & dogs.
