Born and raised on the streets of Richmonds southside, Smooth Rock was destined for greatness. His Love for hip hop began back in middle school where he attended Boushall Middle. There is where he realized that he had a talent for transfering everyday occurrances into poetry. By the time he reached high school, those poems became the blueprint of his dreams. At a time when it seemed like everyone around him would battle and freestyle, he realized that most of them lacked the lyrical ability to put that skill onto paper and make actual songs. He soon began honing his craft in private, perfecting evey line of every verse until he was satisfied. Once he was, he was ready to unleash his venom unto the masses. He soon hooked up with fellow MC, and cousin Silence Da Sinister ( C-Sinna), and along with BLC they formed a group named TGM. They traveled through the southside streets battling any and every MC that stepped in their path, buildin a small buzz along the way. But as in any situation, drama set in and the group temporarily disbanded in 99. From there Rock was back on his solo grind until once again life took its toll and he hung up the mic. Rock eventually made the move to Norfolk, VA and befriended a couple of local artists. Through them he reluctantly started to feed that fire once again. Tired of the politics invovled with using other producers beats, he soon crafted a production team called the Track Assassins, as well as Affiliation Entertainment. He hooked back up with C-Sinna as well as Awall Inc. and AMPM to form a team of MC's with unmeasurable talent. Now the Foundation has been laid, and the streets aint safe anymore because the dawn of a new reign is near.
