Somewhat exotic, extraordinary band was formed upon a meeting of musicians, who shared similar tastes in music. Following common goal in the search of creative fun, Ziper built up a song selection, solely dedicated to the legends od Southern rock - Lynyrd Skynyrd. With their relaxed and unburdened approach to playing, they try to emulate the sound and style of "Skynyrd" and thus present a some of the band's stage energy, which has so many times swept away with the "competition". Lynyrd Skynyrd is specially renowned for their strong rock'n'roll, striking guitar solos of three guitarists and wild and tragic "behind the scenes" events. By all means the band left a powerful mark in the history of music, a part of which you can hear in the tribute project.
Bostjan Vlasic – vocals, Tomaz Suln – guitar, Jure Dolinar –guitar, Matej Ferlic – bass in Matjaz Lapanje – drums, have moulded, shaped and created in various ensembles, but they are bonded by their fascination with rock and blues of the 60's and the 70's. Tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd is not their first meeting, since they've played together in a band called Stara Pravda. In addition to band members, graphic designer Jure --uln and manager Jurij Preskar also collaborate on the tribute project.
