About Me

Alex was born in Tbilisi, Georgia in 1971. He entered the Zakharia Paliashvili’s Music College to study French horn. Later he changed the instrument to the Alto saxophone and began playing Jazz. Few years later Alex moved to Tenor saxophone and joined Edik Israelov’s Jazz Big Band. During the 1988 - 1990 period he joined the Gogi Nakaidze’s quartet where he was Tenor saxophone soloist. At the same time he joined the Givi Gachechiladze’s Big Band.In 1993 Alex moved to London and began playing with London’s greatest musicians. Alex played with Clifford Jarvis (1998), Jim Mullen, Robin Aspland, Jim Watson and Tristan Maillot. At the same time Alex took lessons from Jean Toussaint at the London Guildhall School of Music.In 1999 Alex collaborated with Valery Proletarski (arranger, producer, programmer, sound engineer). At present Alex is playing in London...
