Formed in late 1998 as the brainchild of a Mark Filip & Simon Smerdon who were starting up the embryo of Collision Substance records. "We need a project" they said "how about a project between Kanal & Ocosi" was the reply , so the then line up of Ocosi (Paul Molyneux & Simon Smerdon) and Kanal (Mark Filip) , made a suitably darkside beats session for Collision Substance release no.1 , Simon picked a name in some book about snuff films ('Gator Bait Ten'...... 'Kicked To Death By Bees' was a close runner) and the project was born. The self titled debut hit the scene in 1999 (in specially sewn cloth pouch with free stickers) and was greeted to critical acclaim , and is now almost impossible to get hold of (It sold out within a matter of months). A follow up was kicked about with vocals from Annie Anxiety , but by this time the relationship between all 3 members had changed with the 3 GBT creators following different avenues. (Mark went onto film sound engineering , Simon became Mothboy and Paul is still Ocosi).
There are some reviews and interviews kicking about somewhere on the net from the time .. and the project may see the light again , maybe an extended line-up , maybe 3 different people , maybe nothing. .. who knows. Never say die. Download and enjoy.
