I do enjoy unwinding with a fine wine and some beautiful people or other. Beauty and intoxication, such delicious sin!

I shouldn't like to list each and every musician that appeals to me, else we'd be here for quite some time. Suffice to say, I like quite a range, from your middle of the road stuff, like The Libertines to obscure electro. Its all quite a mix.
In spite of the inevitable stigma, I must confess to being quite a fan of musical theatre, largely thanks to my companions; actors, dancers and singers for the most part. I should say that 'RENT' is a particular favourite, truly marvellous songs, to be sure, and a grand subject.
The Great Dictator with Charlie Chaplin, the Monty Python Movies, Trainspotting, The Libertine, Shaun of the Dead, Clockwork Orange, Across the Universe, The Producers, Sweeney Todd, Big Fish. In fact, a good deal of Tim Burton appeals. I do enjoy films, they're rather fun.
This and that...television doesn't much appeal to me, I prefer to read.
To read is to live, in my opinion! Here is a mere selection of my favourite works:
"The Great Gatsby" and "Tender is the Night" by F. Scott Fitzgerald
"The Sonnets," "Twelfth Night," "Hamlet" and "The Tempest" by Will Shakespeare
"To Kill A Mockingbird" by Harper Lee"
"The Rowley Poems" by Thomas Chatterton
"A'rebours" by Karl Huysmans
"The Picture of Dorian Gray", "A Woman of No Importance" and "The Ballad of Reading Gaol" by Oscar Wilde
"Great Expectations" and "Oliver Twist" by Charles Dickens"
A good selection of Romantic literature; from Wordsworth and Keats to Byron and Pushkin
"An Actor Prepares" by Constantin Stanislavski
"Brideshead Revisited" by Evelyn Waugh
I very much enjoy the plays of Chekhov, Ibsen and Brecht
My taste also stretches to contemporary literature, although the classical is where my heart lies.I am particularly fond of:
"Trainspotting" by Irvine Welsh
"Blasted" by Sarah Kane
"Serious Money" by Caryl Churchill
At this moment in time, I've just started "The Theatre and It's Double" by Antoin Artaud.
Why should we look to the past, my dear, when we could be heroes for ourselves?
