About Me

i think it's about time that i update this part. as you may or may not know, i recently got married to the love of my life, robert dillard. getting married is the best decision i have ever made. i know this sounds extremely corny, but i'm so lucky to have married my best friend. he is in the army, and is currently stationed in new york. it's effing cold here all the time, but i hear the summer is nice here. so i have that to look forward too :)i come from a great family, and my twin sister is everything to me. i don't know where i would be if i didn't have her by my side.i enjoy spending every moment i can with my husband, meeting new people, and music. that part of me will never go away. and no, no kiddos for us yet. if it happens, great, but we are sooooo not ready for it. but who knows....."And that, I think, was the handle - -that sense of inevitable victory over the forces of Old and Evil. Not in any mean or military sense; we didn't need that. Our energy would simply prevail. There was no point in fighting - -on our side or theirs. We had all the momentum; we were riding the crest of a high and beautiful wave. So now, less than five years later, you can go up on a steep hill in Las Vegas and look West, and with the right kind of eyes you can almost see the high-water mark - -the place where the wave finally broke and rolled back. "-------Hunter S.
