About Me

Happily married thirty-something.... WOW, where did that come from??? Malc, the brightspot in my life, and I have been married for over a year now. We're both avid poker players and live for our Vegas trips! I'm still working at LRMC (for now) and studying to take my Nurse Practitioner certification exam. We're currently house-hunting and hoping to be settled before we start our family. We currently have 6 cats (had to promise no more animals *sigh*), but look forward to getting a dog when we have a yard. We spend our free time with friends and family. Most fervent goal (other than making babies) is to play in the World Series of Poker.

My Interests

I love planning social events!! Whether it's a little work function, a dinner with friends, a trip, or a party... I love putting it all together. I have to say that, to date, planning my wedding was the single most spectacular event I've ever done! Can we do it again?!?!

Music:

Love lots!! Can't say I have favorite artist(s). I just know I like what I like when I hear it.

Movies:

I like anything that gives me "the feel-good" feeling.... good triumphing over evil, the guy getting the girl, etc. Don't mind a chick-flick now and then. Can't stand horror and gore.

Television:

OK, so I got sucked into reality TV... Survivor, Idol, Amazing Race. Also like High Stakes, Poker After Dark, Good Eats, Til Death, and various gameshows. But let's not forget that the DVR records As The World Turns daily!!

Books:

When I find time, I like Nora Roberts and Catherine Coulter. I read to escape, so I like it light. My all time fave is Gone With the Wind... the book was soooo much better than the movie (which was also excellent).

Heroes:

Anyone who fights for truth, justice, and the American way. I respect those who respect others.... you know, The Golden Rule. My Anti-hero: the cheaters and the liars... You know who You are!!!
