Flaco de Nerja

Flaco de Nerja had his first contacts with the guitar at the age of thirteen. He studied at the conservatory ,where he discovered his love for Flamenco.Flaco got the possibility to learn from one of the best guitarists,Emilio Maya from Granada.The following years he founded his first group "Los Caminos",the Pena Flamenca "La Pasion" and the first Flamenco-Festival in Bratislava.In the year 1998 he made a tour through Columbia and 1999 he went to live in Andalusia,where he worked with a lot of artists from Flamenco and they gave him his artist name "Flaco de Nerja".Afterwards he made a tour through Brazil and Germany. In the year 2000 he started the colaboration with artists from France,where he gave every year some concerts(one of them was a Liveprogram at Radio Culture France and TF2).2001 Flaco is one of the finalists at the "Concurso nacional del arte Flamenco" in Cordoba and Barcelona. 2004 again he reaches the final in Cordoba.His first Cd "Axarquia" was made in 2003 and now he is working on the next one.In the following years he presented his wonderful compositions in Austria,where he played in one of Viena..s most famous theatres "Metropol".In the years 2004 until 2006 he lived in Sevilla.2005 he shares the stage with the great Pepe Romero at the Guitarfestival in Austria.After he came back to Viena he started to work together with the dancer Sandra La Chispa,with whom he started the colaboration with the orchestra "L..arpeggiata".You can hear Flaco in their new Cd "Los Impossibles".Together with L..apeggiata Flaco played at festivals like:Kyburgiade in Zürich,Salle Gaveau in Paris,Schubertiade in Austria,Blumental-Festival in Tel Aviv,Atlantikfestival at Azores,Chichester and Cheltenham in the UK,etc. 2006 he plays a Soloconcert at the Flamencofestival in Nürnberg(Germany) and the Festival in Sanlucar de Barrameda(Spain). 2007 he founded the "Flaco de Nerja Septett" where he started a fusion of Flamenco and Jazz.With the Septett you can see Flaco at many Festivals in Europe. Flaco is one of the best guitarists of the new generation.Critics from the spanish "Diario Malaga" wrote about his virtuosity,improvisation and beautiful compositions and put a great hope in his influence at the art of the flamencoguitar.Flaco presents his concerts all over the world like:Brazil,Columbia,Austria,SlovakRepublic,Germany,Spain,Sw itzerland,France and more.Colaboration with singers:
