The Wasabis started to play together for the first time in 2006, when Elliot (vocals) Luca (guitar) and Guido created the band, starting out as a Red Hot Chilli Peppers cover band. Over a year and a half they went on with a missing component, a base player, which they found in 2007, Max. Now, in 2008, the band is planning on recording their first album.
Over the few years the name was changed a couple of times, but The Wasabis respects the identity of the band the most.
