The Frog and Nightingale

About Me

We have just been bought over from our old company and so must start afresh with our media and promotional machine, please bear with us in this task, meanwhile heres a small introduction of where we're at and what we're doing... Hello...because we are slightly wrong we decided to join up here as a band (kind of like Robin Hood, except without the tights&swords, but we do have many fair maidens lurking behind the bar!) to get a feel of what it is like to be among the mortals that are slaving around this fair isle with an assortment of instruments, words and banter. We will soon be posting recordings of gigs, photos and reviews once we start re-establishing ourselves. We are a venue, inside the city centre, next to the canal, with a sexy beer garden, a soon to be extended smoking area, an extendable stage and a musical repertoire that cannot be nailed down... In recent times we have hosted events from promoters and bands/artists/musicians that range from bizarre ska/punk through the spectrum to dance, techno and jazz. We welcome you and your individual tastes with open arms, if your serious about an event contact us through myspace or our site www.frogandnightingale.co.uk or would like to play a gig, stage an event or just bob down for beer's and a scran we're your people. Take care from the frog team
