I think my name is Katie -- I seem to have misplaced my last name, however. Jesus Christ is the Lord and Love of my life; I long to know Him more, to love Him more, and show that love to Him more. I have great appreciation for people in ministry, and hope to be involved in some sort of ministry myself in the future, which requires a complete and total surrender of self and submission to God, allowing Him to use me and live His life through me, speak His words through my mouth, go out into the world with my feet, and use my hands to reach and hold His people. This is not a calling solely for people "officially" in ministry though; we all (Christians) are called to surrender to Him and allow Him to live through us, and really we are all in the "ministry" whether we have an official title or not.
If I could sum up my dream and vision for my life in two words, it would be: LOVE, and CHRIST. But Christ IS love, so I guess it'd just be one word: CHRIST. I want to love people, reach people, and meet people's needs. I want to continually decrease, that He may continually increase...until ultimately, there is no ME...only HIM. "My" life is not my own at all...but His. And I long to surrender all of my self to Him, I long for Him to break my heart open as often as He must to reach in and remove the filth...I don't care how much it hurts, and I don't care what the cost...He is worth it, and so much more.
