What's going on world, I'll try to keep this as short and sweet as possible. My name is Matthew Cherry and I am a director who currently lives in Hollywood. I am originally from Chicago and graduated with a double major in radio/tv broadcast and media production from the University Of Akron. I spent my first three years out of college in the NFL playing with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Cincinnatti Bengals Carolina Panthers and Baltimore Ravens. I am into my first year and a half of living in Los Angeles and currently work full time in television production I have production credits in several different genres including over 40 commercials (Nike,Toyota, Wendy's etc.), 5 reality television programs (Ego Trip's Miss Rap Supreme, The Whitest Kids U Know, etc.) 11 music videos (Jordin Sparks, Lady Gaga, Ciara, Mary Mary, Billy Ray Cyrus, Spill Canvas, Robin Thicke, Diddy, Flyleaf, Talib Kweli, Raheem Devaughn, etc.) and two major network sitcoms (Girlfriends & The Game) I am currently employed with the hit NBC television drama "HEROES". I am currently a music video director that specializes in R&B and neo soul artists. I have directed videos for Terry Dexter and Kindred The Family Soul and have had my own music videos air on BET, MTV, VH1 SOUL BETJ, FUSE and MUCH MUSIC. I am also in the process of securing the right for my first feature length motion picture about aviatrix Bessie Coleman, the first African American female pilot in the world.
