Thelonious Kryptonite

About Me

Collective sounds of soul, jazz, and funk Kryptonite uses his influenced genres to blend with his hip hop craft. From St.Louis, where he branched his love for music and art. Not just a emcee but a poet, writer, and musician. Started off in the church at a early age playing drums and singing in the choir. Began his craft of flow in high school with a group called Silent Assasins which led to poetry and rhyming. At a young age he was a member of St.Lois hip-hop collaborative, Soul Tyde where he worked with GottaBE Karim, Black Spade, Steve West, and Coltrain. From high school to college he experienced playing percussion in marching bands and jazz bands. This further influenced him to create his style of music and express it with powerful lyrics. Krypto’s style is a blend of East Coast rhyme and Mid-West swagger. In addition to music, Krypto is a radio personality for Clear Channel radio. And creates various of events for promotional teams. He does everything just like he does his music, creatively.Kryptonite is an emcee that makes music for the love and passion of creating. He wants his music to make minds sparks, heads knock, and souls touch. PUT YOUR BIO SECTION HERE! Changes may take up to 2 mins to show on your profile

Sounds Like: The dopest $hit u never heardReal talk, I don't really consider my music hip hop nor do I consider it neo-soul. I consider it to be ME. There is no label to something that keeps changing each and every day. I thank GOD for the gift, there was a time I went through a serious stage of writers block, now I can't stop coming up with stuff. If I could put a lable on my craft, I would call it Spoken Funk Jazz with a cup of Soul.I don't even consider myself as an emcee sometimes. I think of myself as an "EXPRESSIONIST"
