Jeremy Hopkins

Well, I started playing guitar and writing songs when I was about 16 and it’s pretty much been my life ever since. I’m very thankful that God gave me the ability to play music, because without it, I honestly have no idea what I’d be doing. And that’s not to say that I do actually know what I’m doing, but I do know that I love writing songs. Being able to watch my thoughts and ideas piece themselves together and lead to a finished song is by far one of the coolest experiences ever. I guess that’s what keeps me going in a musical sense…the constant pursuit of that next melody that’s really going to hit home. Ultimately, it’s my goal to be as honest as possible and write great songs that people can enjoy and relate with. If I can inspire or affect the listener on some level, I’ve accomplished what I’ve set out to do.
