Origo Sound was formed in 1990 and has released around 25 albums in the ambient and ambient techno genres, with the occasional adventure into ethnic electronica, folk, new age and industrial sounds. Three albums are scheduled for a fall 2008 release, and we're currently branching out and expanding! Sounds Like: Artists on Origo Sound has been compared to Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, The Orb, Brian Eno and other similar artists, but have their own unique styles developed with artistic integrity rather than commercial considerations in mind.Most albums are in the ambient or ambient techno genres, always melodic or harmonic, and sometimes with an ethnic, meditative, or industrial touch.
