Check out their pages on my Top Friends list (SPECIALIST PRODUCTIONS & SNAZ)I started singing @ the age of, well eversince i can remember. born and raised in Manchester England birthed by 2 Jamaican parents, My early musical influences came from watching my dad play his old reggae and soul tunes from an early age. I was also heavily influenced by my aunts and uncles who were all into music. I remember going to my family's house and watching my uncle and friends singing and producing music,i later came to findout they were a group by the name of 52nd street. A r&b/pop band who had a few big hits in the early 80's. Surrounded by music from birth i knew it was something i really wanted 2 do. My family ended up migrating to Canada in the early 90's at which time i was back and forth between family in New York and my new home. At the age of 14 i decided to take my music a little more serious by attend Wexford school of the arts. During that time i met 3 other guys who had the same passion and asperation 4 music as i did. We formed a group named (BLACK ESSENCE). Black Essence consisted of ST Peter miller, Jason Simmons,David Matthews & Darrel Gordon.We recorded alot of material, did alot of local talent shows(Every talent show...LOL!) which built us a heavy buzz on Toronto's streets, we would soon hookup with a Managment company named morning star entertainment ran by Christo's Cox.....Wade O'Brown & Big Will. Also on the morning star roster was alot of other big name acts Today, Glenn Lewis, Jackie Mcgibbon, Derrick and The show 2 name a few. We spent years perfecting our sound and craft doing things like. Performing @ Clubs such as, The Bamboo,Big bop, Revival,Lee's Palace, Once again with names like K'OS, Devine Brown, Chris Rouse, Kardinal Offishal, Choclair Billy and Perry Alexander,Carlos Morgan, Julie Black. When they were all coming up. I mean if it's in the city im sure we've played it. Recoding a track 4 the second volume of Groove Essentials, Breakfast Television, CFTO NEWS clips, City tv, Chin picnic main stages Singing for and with such people as Montell Jordan Opening for mase & Puff Daddy. After 7 years of serious work the group decided to go their seperate ways due 2 everyones personal growth and directional changes but we still remain tight friends.2 years Later i was introduced to Group by the name of AZ/1 who just happened to be searching for a 3rd member. After listening to the prodution of who i would later find out is my (borha from anotha motha) Dk and the silky vocals of my homeboy Raj I knew this was a move for me. We were managed by Miss Liberty silver a renowned Jazz vocalist. Dk who is also a young black classical violinist and Liberty silver spent countless hours helping the group tighten and perfect our vocal harmonies. We ended up recording a 15 song album when studios were still using 2 inch and 1 inch reels....lol. Which got us some intrest from Major Labels such as columbia U.S,Virgin U.S,Jive records and a few others. Libetry silver got us a documetary wich aired for a lil while on local T.V stations, Sang the national anthem for the opening of a few N.B.A games, did interviews with the Nylons, Amy sky and san for Dick Scott Who used to Manage the New Kids On The Block. Unfotunatley, once again though we all ended up going our seperat ways to persue our goals and dreams, Which would lead me to today.Im still singing and song/writting performing and now with over 13 years of studio experience, recording some hot trax....LOL!!! 4 now im a solo journey trying to work on an album to either shop and release or push independently with the help of a few good people i've met along the way. Im always lookin to colaborate, be it song writting or vocals with hot and talented artist, it's never the end for someone who is truley passionate about their goals or dreams and this is mine. My heart, my soul, i believe the reason for my exsistance. If you wanna do some work .......
