This is the page for my "solo" music, however, I'm currently working/touring more actively with my band "THE SWEET REMAINS" (with my buddies and co-singer-songwriters Rich Price and Brian Chartrand). As for myself, I'm an all-indie all-the-time singer-songwriter out of a remote little burg known as New York City. I perform solo and with my backing-band, The Stark Naked Sole, and with the aforementioned "Sweet Remains". My first CD from a few years back is available on Itunes, CDBaby, etc. and (best place to order it, as I keep largest share of the money), at my own website (http://www.gregnaughton.com). The music player on this page features some new (unreleased) songs I've been working on my own CD -- which I hope to release sometime in the next year (depending somewhat on Sweet Remains schedule). So far I've got six tracks recorded that I did with producer, Robbie Roth, in Toronto. I've got a number of other tunes I really want to record before releasing so hopefully I can get that done before too much more time passes... I've also been doing some fun songwriting (minus the "singing") gigs of late, including a song that was produced by Harry Connick Jr. and is the first track on KELLI O'HARA's debut CD for Sony Records (yes, that Kelli O'Hara...). I also co-wrote a Rich Price tune called "Queen B." which was released on his debut CD on Geffen Records of a couple years back. It got picked up by KFOG radio in San Francisco more recently and became a popular "spin" there, as 'twere. Earlier this year, I also finished acting & singing appearance in upcoming feature film "Clear Blue Tuesday" in which I played "Jack King", a down and out street-singer -- that film is due out shortly and will be making the festival circuit in 2009 featuring some of my own music on the all original soundtrack.
