Mittens is a fat little taby cat who was rescued from the wild when she was about a year old. At the time she was very skinny, sick, and near death, but after being de-wormed, spayed, and cleaned up a bit... well, she's not malnourished anymore...
Mr. Charles Bingley is a dapper little gentleman cat. He and his three siblings were found in the wild nursing their skinny feral mother (Beatrice) before they had fur or could even open their eyes. He was named after the charming Mr. Charles Bingley of Jane Austin's classic novel Pride & Prejudice, because of his red fur and strikingly fine manners. He is now about a year old, but he still enjoys pretending to nurse on his fuzzy blue blanket... and occasionally on Mittens when she'll hold still.
