Thomas McPartland is a Galway-based singer songwriter who has been writing for four years now. Since leaving the band Torn, he has ventured down his own musical path. His biggest influences range from The Beatles and Radiohead to Damien Rice and The Guggenheim Grotto. Highlights have included playing in Auxerrasmus in France, having tracks included on a compilation album of Northwest artists and playing venues such as Roisin Dubh and DeBurgos in Galway, Cleere's in Kilkenny and various other gigs in the North West. He has also shared a stage with artists such as The Guggenheim Grotto, Damien Dempsey, Dervish, Túcan, Jaded Sun, 21 Outs, Bobo and Colin Devaney.'You have to lean in quietly to hear him, but you'll find yourself paying more attention to him then to any other band.
