Real Raw Rockabilly - with a straight 3 piece.These guys are no Johnny-Come-Latelies either - they've been digging the scene for a good few years now and recognised that rockabilly music was moving away from the bare stripped-down sound and are here to set that right.Joe sings and strums - writing many of the bands songs. Influenced by Bobby Wayne and Hasil Adkins - he can punch out those vocals. Jimmy picks and plays in the style of the late, great Luther Perkins - then he can switch & send that guitar into mind-blowing Link Wray style licks and Bo Diddley rhythms. Kev slaps and plucks that bass with style and panache - making it look so easy. He's a lover (not a fighter) of all things big, bass and from a bottle. Jack Daniels of course!The Groove Diggers have great rapport on stage and this really comes across. The band have had a busy 12 months - they've played to over 4,000 at the Hangar is Rockin in Swizterland. The GrooveDiggers were the showcase band at Lets Get Wild 2007/08 - first to take to the stage, where they won the crowd over!!
