Arne Huber was born on january 14th 1977. He graduated at the "Hochschule fuer Musik Mannheim" (jazz-doublebass) and at the "Musikhochschule Freiburg i.Br." (classical-doublebass). With the quintet ..L14,16.. he won 2002 the first price of the international jazz competition in Hoeillart/Belgium and the same group received 2003 and 2007 the "Vierteljahrespreis der Deutschen Schallplattenkritik". With the Felix Fromm 6-tet he won 2005 the first price of the international jazz competition in Getxo/Spain. He performed with Ingrid Jensen, Johannes Enders, Tony Lakatos, Randy Brecker, Adrian Mears, Julian Argüelles, Paul Heller, Domenic Landolf, Ack van Rooyen, Bob Degen, Fabrice Alleman, Nils Petter Molvaer, Juilien Lourau...
