Esther is passionate about dancing and teaching. Since Dancehall was born in the 1980s she has been totally crazy about this vibe and kept up to date with everything surrounding it… Born in Guadeloupe, French Caribbean island in the middle of the Lesser Antilles , Esther aka Desthy has been dancing all her life on Caribbean music and other vibes including: Soca/Calypso, Reggae, Dancehall, Zouk, Soukouss, N'dombolo/Coupé- D écalé , Funky house, etc... At 10 years old Esther was a member of a dance group in Guadeloupe performing in styles such as Zouk/Soukouss/Dancehall. In 1999, she was co-founder and choreographer of a dance group in Paris performing in styles such as Dancehall/Soca/N'dombolo. Early 2007 Esther has started teaching Jamaican Dancehall at The Hirise Studio in Sydney. Her Dancehall class is original and totally different to anything around at the moment: It is just RAW Dancehall (nothing added, nothing taken away!). Fresh moves “Up to di time†; just how you would see people performed them in the streets of Jamaica today .
When Esther is not dancing, she pursues a hectic career as a Software Trainer Executive in Sydney CBD.xxxx
