M.O.F. was spawned from broken homes, broken relationships & broken noses. The idea for the band came to me while we were at the Rockers Reunion in 2005. Tim had a drum kit kicking about, i had just started to play guitar, so in true Punk spirit i said 'Lets start a band'.So to start it was me & Tim thrashing out some god awfull noise. (Things aint changed much) But we're Punks we were there in the 70's when it all began & that Punk attitude will stay with us till we die!
In September 2006 i bought a cheap 4 track & recorded a few songs in my front room. We put them on the mp3 Unsigned site not expecting to get anywhere, but we have had 3 tracks in the top 10 Punk chart ever since & got to No 3 with 'Brain Dead'.Things started to move forward, at that time i met Pete at Jez's birthday party. I had tattooed Jez a few years earlier & both being Punks we hit it off from the start. As Jez is in the Anti Nowhere League he has both inspired & incouraged us. Pete was now bass player & being from the old school, fitted in a treat.
At our first live performance Animal & Jez turned up to heckle & jeer us & of course it all went tits up. We all had a great laugh, after all thats what we're about.We are well into our bikes & our tattoo's & after watching Miami Ink i had to write a song about Kat Von D. Kat has heard the song & loves it, & now the song is played on the Real Kat Von D fan club home page.
